Elon Musk’s jet-tracking Twitter account joins the threads.

Jack Sweeney, whose Twitter account was suspended for tracking Elon Musk’s private jet in real time, has now moved on to Mark Zuckerberg’s threads.

“Alvin has reached the jet threads!” Read Sweeney’s first post Thursday from the new account handle @ElonMusksJet, which has more than 22,000 followers at the time of filing this story.

“I’d like to post on Threads like I do on Instagram,” Sweeney, who has more than 46,000 followers on the photo and video sharing app, told Insider.

Sweeney, a college student, also said he plans to post manually, hoping that Meta will allow auto-posting on threads in the future.

In regards to covering up the suspension of his Twitter account, Sweeney wrote on Wednesday: “@zuck will I be allowed to stay.”

Before that, he had a Twitter account where he would post about the recent tracking of Musk’s jet. It also tracked Zuckerberg’s private jet before it was suspended in December 2022.

He had nearly 500,000 followers before the account was suspended. It started tracking Musk’s plane in 2020, which caught the attention of netizens.

He also added other celebrities like former US President Donald Trump, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian to his tracking list. However, their accounts were suspended for violating Twitter’s rules.

“Any account with real-time location information of any person will be suspended, as it is a violation of physical security. Posting links to sites with real-time location information,” Musk said in a tweet. Included,” Musk said in a tweet.

“I’m honestly hoping Twitter dies,” Sweeney told Insider. “Since I’m stuck there, you’re searching my name, it seems my search is restricted.”

However, he said he had a problem with Twitter’s rival threads.

“The only thing I’m unhappy about with Instagram and threads is that I can’t get my hands on the @ElonJet handle even though no one has it,” he said.
