One person was killed and 9 injured as a result of an explosion near a tri-wheeler rickshaw near Podgali Chowk in Quetta.
Police say that at least one person was killed and nine were injured in the blast.
Police have cordoned off the area and rescue operations are underway. The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital. Five of them have been shifted to the trauma center after first aid.
The bomb disposal squad is yet to determine the nature of the blast.
