Maxi Jazz, the lead singer of the British electronic music band Faithless and best known as the voice on such trance hits as “God Is AJ” and “Insomnia,” has died at age 65, the band announced Saturday. said

Jazz died peacefully in his sleep, the band said on Twitter. He did not give a cause of death.
Jazz Maxwell Fraser was born in Brixton, South London in 1957. He helped form Faithless in 1995, which has since become one of the most popular dance bands in the UK and around the world.
