On the special occasion of completing 25 years in the film industry, Karan Johar has finally confirmed that the first look of his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani will be released tomorrow, May 25.
Karan dropped a monologue that showcased his 25-year long journey from Kuch Kuch, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna to My Name by Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani.
He also wrote an emotional note along with the video. “I have nothing but gratitude for the magical 25 years I’ve spent in the director’s chair. I’ve learned, I’ve grown, I’ve cried, I’ve laughed – I’ve lived.”
“And tomorrow, you’ll get to see another piece of my heart and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate my birthday with you all. With a story that has Prem written all over it”, he wrote.
Towards the end of the note, the Student of the Year director mentioned about unveiling the first look of another romantic film of his yesterday.
“See you tomorrow! Watch #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani first tomorrow! In theaters on July 28.
Karan’s Dharma Productions also shared the same video as a tribute to the ace filmmaker. He wrote: “It’s the beginning of a new era of love! After bringing you stories of love and friendship that still hold a special place in hearts across seven seas.
“It’s time to hit the drama on a new season, with a ‘Prem Kahaani’ directed by the captain himself, #KaranJohar as he completes 25 years as a filmmaker.”
