Pakistan’s ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan has been sentenced to three years in prison on corruption charges he denies.
An Islamabad court found him guilty of not declaring the proceeds of selling official gifts.
The judge ordered his immediate arrest and his lawyer, Intizar Hussain, told Reuters that the former prime minister was detained at his home in Lahore.
Mr Khan’s team says they will appeal the decision.
