Fukrey 3, which was slated to hit the theaters on November 24, will no longer release on the same date.
Earlier, the makers had decided to release the film on November 24, but now sources have learned that they have decided to postpone the release further. According to reports, Fukrey 3 will now release sometime in December.
“Fukrey Returns was also released in December, and the team wishes to release the third installment of this cult comedy in winter as well.”
Sources claim: “Two dates were aggressively discussed in meetings over the past few weeks – December 1 and December 8, with most stakeholders favoring a December 1 release. An announcement is imminent.”
Excel Entertainment aims to release the film between Tiger 3 and Dunki. On the other hand, they have planned to release Suhana Khan’s debut film The Archies on November 24.
“The producers have to adhere to the calendar set by Netflix and currently, The Archies is slated to release on the digital platform on November 24. It is scheduled to release back-to-back for Excel in November and December.
Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has some high-profile projects in the pipeline. Currently, the production house is busy making Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, reports JEE News.
