Karachi’s main metro service Green Line Bus Service has announced temporary changes in its schedule to meet the shopping needs of citizens during the last days of Ramadan.
As citizens prepare for the upcoming festive occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the service will now run later into the night to accommodate increased shopping activity. A spokesperson explained that the decision was taken keeping in mind the convenience of the community.
According to the announcement, the bus service will start every morning at 7 am from both terminals, and will continue from Abdullah Chowk, Sarjani Town to Tzaam Chowrangi station till 11:30 pm.
The down track service from Tejaz Chowrangi will continue till 12:30 PM.
As per the latest schedule announcement, the last bus from Sarjani Town will depart at 11:30 PM, and the last bus from Nizam Chowrangi will depart at 12:30 PM.
The spokesman said that the change in timings has been made to cater to citizens who will be busy shopping and running errands during the holy month, and to provide maximum convenience to passengers during these special days.
