Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf said that his energy has recovered after rest and he is ready to return to the field in the upcoming limited-overs series against New Zealand.
The 29-year-old fast bowler, who was rested for the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, recently said that he is feeling physically fresh and is motivated for the home series.
“I’ve had to rest after a long period so it will help me when I get back on the field. I am now physically fresh and my energy level is better than before,” Rauf told Geo News.
He said that with the end of the World Cup, the Men in Green will try to claim the series as it was important to help them prepare for the mega event.
“We are not thinking about the fact that New Zealand does not have elite players in the team. They still have players with international experience in their squad.
He was also satisfied to see that Pakistan has plenty of resources in the fast bowling department.
“The competition for fast bowlers is increasing and it is good that we have backup in this department,” he said. Ehsanullah is also a good addition to our squad.
He added that the world of cricket speaks highly of Pakistani bowlers.
