HEC and Microsoft launch largest free skills initiative for 1 lakh students.

To help educational institutions use modern technology during the teaching and learning process, Microsoft Pakistan and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) signed an Education Transformation Agreement (ETA) last year. With a grand introduction and announcement of 100,000 free technology skill certificates for university students across Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Microsoft have extended the Education Transformation Agreement (ETA) in Pakistan.

Microsoft and HEC teamed up to reimagine the education landscape, empower the next generation of students and bridge the knowledge-employment gap. Through knowledge transfer workshops and training on the latest Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure, the partnership aims to ensure that Microsoft provides all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with the benefit of new technologies. Will offer multiple services for pickup. Inclusive, personalized, and student-centered learning.

Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training Rana Tanveer attended the event as a special guest. Jordan, Lebanon and Pakistan Country Leader Gibran Jamshed and Higher Education Commission Chairman Professor Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed both addressed the opening ceremony of the event.
