Daniel Kwan, co-director of the critically acclaimed Everything Everywhere All At Once, admits that SS Rajamouli’s directorial debut RRR lives up to all the buzz around it.
Kwan took to his Twitter to praise the epic action-drama film RRR and told his fans that he was ‘not kidding’ when he praised the film.
He said that whenever I watch an Indian action film, I feel like I am working in the wrong country.
What really struck me is, while a lot of the blockbusters we’re making in the states tend to have self aware, cheeky characters trapped in self-serious filmmaking, RRR was all heart-on-its-sleeve sincerity wrapped up in the most ridiculous over the top execution. So much to love.

Reacting to his tweet, a fan asked Kawan which character he liked more out of Bheem and Ram, to which he replied that he related more to ‘Bheem’.

RRR is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
The movie is set in the 1920s pre-independent era, where Ram Charan played Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr NTR was seen as Bheem.
