On Saturday, Bang Bang alum Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to post a birthday wish for RRR actor Jr NTR, hinting at the sequel to the 2019 action thriller War.
Adding some Telugu to the wish, Hrithik wrote, “Wishing you a happy day and an action-packed year ahead. Yedh Bhumi (battlefield) I am waiting for you, my friend.” May your days be filled with joy and peace… until we meet.”
He added, “Puttina Roju Subhakankshalu mitrama (Happy birthday my friend)!”
In April, a source told Pinkvilla that Jr. NTR has joined the cast of Jung 2 as an antagonist and will be pitted against Hrithik Roshan in an action-packed bloody battle.
The source said, “Yes, this is absolutely correct information. NTR Jr. is locking horns with Hrithik Roshan in War 2 and it is going to be an epic action adventure.
“Their battle of wits and epic showdown will be an action spectacle to be experienced on the big screen. War 2 is now a true blue pan India film featuring top superstars from the North and South industry.”
However, Yash Raj Films has not made any official announcement regarding the casting of the RRR superstar.
Fans of Jr. NTR can see him in the Koratala Siva directorial Deewara, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
