The Islamabad High Court (IHC) today (Monday) sentenced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Toshakhana by Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Humayun Dilawar of the trial court. The judgment on the application for suspension has been reserved. Case.

Last week, the court adjourned the hearing till Monday (today) on the request of his assistant counsel and ordered ECP’s counsel to present arguments today. It also directed the electoral authority to make alternative arrangements due to unavailability of counsel.

At the last hearing, PTI’s lawyer Latif Khosa completed his arguments.

Earlier this month, a trial court sentenced Khan to three years in prison and also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh earlier this month.

Khan challenged the verdict and approached the IHC seeking his release and suspension of his sentence. Meanwhile, the ECP had filed a private complaint against Khan in the same case.

What is Toshakhana case?
