Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday directed the senior leadership of the party in Punjab to complete the preparations for the Islamabad Long March in two weeks.
Sources say that PTI Punjab leaders suggested that the long march should be brought from Lahore to Islamabad instead of Peshawar.
Party sources say that Imran Khan also wants to start the march from Lahore, adding that the long march will move towards Islamabad in the last week of September.

Meanwhile, the members of the Punjab Assembly met Imran Khan and discussed in detail the political situation in the country, the administrative goals of the province and other issues.
Discussions were also held on rehabilitation of flood-affected areas, solving public problems and development work in the province.

They discussed media restrictions, the targeting of political opponents by the imported regime and serious human rights violations in the country.

The Parliamentary Party of PTI Punjab Chapter also passed four resolutions. The first resolution expressed full solidarity with the flood-affected people of the country and full support for the party chairman’s measures to help the victims.
The second resolution strongly condemned the destruction of the country’s economy at the hands of the import government, as a result of which the burden of inflation was imposed on the people.
In the third resolution, full confidence was expressed in the leadership of party chairman Imran Khan.

The fourth resolution condemned the shameful propaganda of the government based on religious hatred against the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf at the expense of government channels and state resources.
In the meeting, it was fully agreed to further improve the mutual cooperation between the coalition parties of the coalition government of Punjab.

In the meeting, full confidence was expressed in Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and appreciated his excellent administrative measures and planning.
In the meeting, a strategy was also decided to solve the individual problems of the members of the Punjab Assembly.
