Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir presided over the 81st Formation Commanders Conference at GHQ. Addressing the participants, COAS said that hostile forces and their supporters are trying hard to create social division and chaos through fake news and propaganda, but with the strong support of the nation, all such ambitions will be foiled. . The forum was also briefed on the structural changes and specific technologies to be introduced to enhance operational readiness, apart from the upgradation of logistical infrastructure required to meet evolving security requirements. The COAS reiterated: “Pakistan Army will remain committed to its national responsibilities of protecting the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty”.
