Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Ishaq Dar took oath as a member of the Senate after returning home.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani administered the oath to him.
During the swearing-in ceremony, the opposition created a ruckus in the House. PTI members tore up copies of the agenda of the meeting and surrounded the dais to register the protest.
The Chairman Senate directed all members to maintain the decorum of the House as Dar continued to receive felicitations from members of the coalition parties.
The politicians who met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Pakistan on Monday night will be sworn in as the Federal Finance Minister at 10 am tomorrow (September 28).
President Arif Alvi will take the oath of office in the President’s House. All the arrangements for the swearing in ceremony will be completed by tomorrow morning.
