Jessie J opens up about her childbirth journey and how she met her baby daddy in a ‘whirlwind’ romance.
“I struggle to keep things private. I think if you know me, you know. I want to protect the people I love and keep it to myself,” the Price Tag singer captioned a photo of the couple during childbirth in an Instagram Story on Saturday, June 3.
“And then often I think it’s because life is short [and] I don’t want to regret it. Once you open the door, you can’t close it.”
She then revealed that she met her now-boyfriend ‘weeks’ after her miscarriage in 2021. “I met this man weeks after my miscarriage in 2021. Like a ray of light. He brightened my dark days.
“It was a whirlwind of love and a miracle that we got pregnant naturally with no complications. Being grateful doesn’t cut it. He’s given me so many of the best gifts of my life,” the Bang Bang musician, 36. said
“He didn’t leave my hand [during labor] and I couldn’t have gotten through it without him. Peace to my crazy. Peace to my fears. Daddy to my baby. Thank you.”
In November 2021, Jessie was openly confronted about her pregnancy loss when she decided to have a baby on her own.
Later in January this year, the singer announced that she was expecting her “rainbow baby” but did not reveal who the father of her child was.
The new mom is reportedly dating basketball player Channan Safir Coleman, but has not officially confirmed their relationship.
