Kajol has finally broken her silence after her comments regarding political leaders went viral on social media.
During the promotional events of List Stories 2, Kajol said that nowadays there are political leaders who are uneducated and have no educational background.
“You have political leaders who have no background in the education system.”
“I’m sorry but I’m going to go out and say it. I’ve been ruled by leaders, many of them, who don’t have the perspective that I think education gives you, at least a different perspective. A chance to explore the vision.”
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress said that the slow pace and development in India is due to lack of education.
The internet went crazy over this comment and started trolling him for this comment. But to clarify, Kajol dropped a tweet, ending the controversy.
She wrote: “I was just talking about education and its importance. I didn’t mean to belittle any political leader, we have some great leaders who are leading the country on the right path.”
