Comedian Kapil Sharma, whose latest release Zwigato revolves around the story of a food delivery man, explains what inspired his character in the film.
Kapil revealed that he immediately felt connected to the story and the character as it reminded him of his struggling days.
In a recent media interaction, he shared that many people ask him how he got into the role, which he says he never got out of.
The Ferengi actor recalled the time when he used to earn money by doing many odd jobs. He revealed that he has worked for low wages at Coca-Cola, STD, PCO and a garment factory to earn some pocket money.
He added that he always loved earning for himself and so when he heard this story, he immediately felt connected to it.
The film Zwigato is directed by Nandita Das which focuses on the socio-economic issues of the working class. Kapil plays Manas in the film, who is the sole breadwinner in a family of five. After losing his job at a factory, he tries to earn money as a food delivery agent, JEE News reports.
