Karan Johar, who has been working in the film industry for the past 25 years as a director, shared a glimpse of his special day at the British Parliament where he received an award for his contribution to the entertainment industry.
Taking to her Instagram, Karan shared two pictures of herself receiving an award in Parliament from a dignitary. He is grateful to be honored with such a prestigious award.
He wrote: “Today has been a very special day! I am fortunate and deeply grateful to have been honored by the Honorable Baroness Verma of Leicester at the British House of Parliament in London.
“We celebrated our 25th year as a filmmaker in the film industry and I also launched the teaser of #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani!”
He added: “It’s one of those days where I pinch myself and feel like dreams come true. Thank you all for the immense love you’ve shown me on my journey. And I I promise you, there’s more to come.
Meanwhile, Dharma Productions also shared the same photos to pay tribute to their captain. He also wrote a moving caption for it which read: “It’s only as wonderful with double the celebration!”

Karan Johar’s next directorial venture, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is slated to hit the theaters on July 28, reports JEE News.
