LAHORE: The City Traffic Police Lahore has released the traffic plan for the three One Day International (ODI) matches of the Asia Cricket Cup 2023 to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium from September 3 to 6.
Lahore Chief Traffic Police Officer (CTO) Captain (Rtd) Mustansar Feroze announced that the best traffic arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the three ODI matches in the provincial capital.
About 10 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 110 traffic inspectors and more than 2 thousand traffic under the supervision of Superintendent of Police (SP) Sadar Malik Ikramullah, SP City Shahzad Khan and SP Headquarters Sohail Fazil in the hotels. Officials will perform their duties. Airport, Gaddafi Stadium and parking points.
Apart from this, the CTO added that around 20 forklifts will also be deployed to eliminate illegal parking.

Captain (Rtd) Feroze Lahore added that cricket fans will be able to park their vehicles at Government College Gulberg, Liberty Parking and LDA Plaza.
On the arrival of the Afghanistan national cricket team in Pakistan yesterday, foolproof security was provided from Lahore Airport Hotel under the supervision of CTO Feroze.
He added that traffic arrangements were made from the hotel to Gaddafi Stadium and from the stadium to the hotel.

He said that the roads will be closed for a minimum period on the arrival and departure of the teams and all diversions will be opened for traffic immediately after the movement.
Additionally, traffic on Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg Road will continue as usual.
The CTO further said that as per the traffic plan, cricket fans coming from Mall Road, Jail Road and Canal Road will enter the main gate of the college from Ferozepur Road, while traffic through Rast app, Rasta FM 88.6 and social media. The information will also be conveyed to the citizens. media
The tournament will start from August 30, the first match of which will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
