LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday ordered the authorities not to harass Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan while hearing the details of cases filed against him and the government’s request for possible operation. . His Zaman Park residence in Lahore during the Eid holidays.
The court had earlier reserved its decision on the petition filed by Khan.
The PTI chief along with other leaders of his party appeared in court himself for the hearing.
The verdict said that Khan should be dealt with according to the law as per the assurance of Punjab government counsel.
In its decision, the court said that Imran Khan should not be harassed illegally until the next hearing.

A day earlier, Khan informed the provincial Supreme Court of fears that the government may launch a fresh “operation” at the Zaman Park residence to arrest him during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The PTI chairman expressed his reservations during the hearing on the plea seeking details of the cases registered against him across the country.
Meanwhile, the court rejected the request for an urgent hearing on the request of the former prime minister.
Khan’s case has been fixed for hearing on May 2. The court said there was no need for an urgent hearing.
