Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Maryam Nawaz left for London.
On Wednesday morning, Maryam left for Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore from Jati Amra, the residence of Nawaz Sharif family. He took a Qatar Airways flight to London via Doha.
His departure comes just two days after the Lahore High Court returned his passport.
According to family sources, Maryam’s stay in London will be for one month. She will see her father for the first time after November 2019 when he leaves for London for treatment.
On his return home, his father and three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also accompany him.
She would meet her brothers Hasan and Hussain Nawaz after about four years.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Tuesday, Maryam said that now there is no obstacle to the ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan, and there is only a need to submit an application to the court.
