Muslim League (N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz will leave for London today after getting her passport after the Lahore High Court overturned her conviction, JEE News reported on Wednesday.
Maryam Nawaz is expected to stay in London for two weeks. Sources say that the PML-N leader will take a private airline flight at 10 am today and will depart from Lahore Airport after some time.
Sources associated with her family said that Maryam will return to Pakistan with her father Nawaz Sharif. Sources also said that he will undergo a medical check-up during his stay in London.
The Muslim League (N) leader received his passport on October 3 after the Lahore High Court ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to return his passport. He surrendered his passport in 2019 after getting bail in a corruption reference.
