At least five people were killed and six others injured in a mass shooting at a popular local bar in Orange County, California, on Wednesday night, authorities reported.

Police revealed the suspect, a retired law enforcement officer, opened fire at a historic biker bar and was killed after police shot him in return, JEE News reported.

Injured people were taken to the hospital after shots were fired at the popular, old biker bar Cook’s Corner in Trabuco Canyon around 7:30 a.m. Footage from the scene shows at least two bodies on the ground covered in sheets.

A domestic dispute between a retired law enforcement officer and his wife led to a mass shooting, resulting in the shooting of 11 people, including the suspect, resulting in a large police presence, JEE News reported. The numbers were there.

The popular biker bar is located near Cook’s Corner O’Neill Regional Park, 50 miles south of Los Angeles, California, reports JEE News.

Mass shootings are not uncommon in the United States and, in fact, have seen a dramatic increase in the past few years, becoming the most common cause of death for most people in the country.

Guns have become so easily accessible in the US that even children get hold of guns and kill people.
