Islamabad: Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will discuss the date of dissolution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab Assemblies on Monday.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry made this announcement on his official Twitter handle and added that the party will also decide the date of resignation from the provincial assemblies of Sindh and Balochistan.

“With these decisions, 64 percent of seats in Pakistan will become vacant and pave the way for general elections,” highlighted the former minister.
The meeting came shortly after PTI chief Imran Khan announced that he had decided to “opt out of the corrupt system and quit all assemblies”.
“My party has decided not to be a part of the present political system and will instead resign from all assemblies,” the ousted prime minister said in his first personal address since the assassination in Garrison City. Rawalpindi.
Imran – whose party is on the cusp of power in Punjab, KP, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan – apparently pulled a surprise card on the government in a proverbial ‘burn the boats’ decision, leaving his provincial governments at stake. Put it on. An attempt to trigger early elections “because the nation stands at a crossroads”.
Without elaborating on his decision, Imran said he would soon meet his chief ministers and the parliamentary party on the issue and would soon announce when the party would leave the assemblies.
