Singer Natasha Baig has given her two cents on Abdullah Qureshi’s decision to quit the music industry for religious reasons.
Bag wrote on his Instagram story: “I will never appreciate musicians who leave their careers behind in the name of awareness. Coz that proves the false narrative that is attached to the music. So please go ahead and congratulate your awakening but don’t make us look like villains in the process.
He added: “Your actions may be something that Islam never praises, but music is divine and has nothing to do with any sinful act unless you can control your self and the self.” It can be a problem in any profession.”
Singer Abdullah Qureshi recently announced that he is quitting the music industry for religious reasons and will no longer perform in concerts. Also, they will no longer appear in advertisements.
Qureshi said that he would appear only for work in which he was interested or within religious boundaries.
