Islamabad/London: After Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) chief Nawaz Sharif expressed reservations over the former prime minister’s meetings with allied parties, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman Invited to come to Dubai. The news reported.

The JUI(F) chief has claimed that he was not taken into confidence at the Dubai huddles headed by Nawaz Sharif.

The PML-N supremo will leave for Dubai instead of London in Saudi Arabia where he currently resides. Sources say that coalition partner Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari had convinced Nawaz to hold elections on time.

Meanwhile, Nawaz tasked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to persuade Fazal about the Dubai meetings between the Muslim League (N) and PPP leadership.

Sources revealed that the JUI-F chief – the head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance of ruling parties – along with Communications Minister Asad Mehmood met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House on Monday.

Both reportedly discussed the political climate of the country during the meeting. The Prime Minister informed Fazal about the election strategy of the ruling coalition and the decisions taken in Dubai.

Earlier, JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghori had told reporters that the entire PDM leadership was not aware of the Dubai meeting, and it was not just his party that was unaware.

He also said that it was his right to express his reservations on the matter, as the JUIF believed that if the duration of the assemblies was extended, it would cause them political harm.

Ghori added that it was Zardari’s idea to remove Imran Khan through a no-confidence motion because he wanted to show street power and wanted elections. He said that it will soon be known what powers are behind the removal through no-confidence motion.

He said that the JUI(F) was in favor of holding elections immediately after the end of the PTI government and Fazl confirmed the statement of Prime Minister Shehbaz about dissolving the assemblies at the end of his tenure.

Nawaz asks PML-N to expedite polls campaign

Meanwhile, in preparation for the expected general elections, which are likely to be held in October, PML-N supremo Nawaz directed his party supporters to intensify their campaigning.

According to media reports, Nawaz recently telephonically contacted key party members and urged them to step up their campaign efforts as the ruling party has hinted at dissolving the assembly in August, possibly But on 11 or 12 August.

During these contacts, it was decided that the Muslim League (N) would introduce new faces to improve the image of the party and strengthen its chances in the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, the ticket distribution process is likely to be completed by August or September, allowing the party to field its candidates in time.

Along with this, talks are also going on to determine the final date of Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan.

Currently, in Saudi Arabia, Nawaz is busy meeting influential leaders and consulting his legal team to strategize his return.
