Federal Minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Mian Javed Latif has said that party supremo Nawaz Sharif will decide on alliance with Muslim League (N) in the upcoming elections.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s Model Town office on Wednesday, he said that earlier Nawaz Sharif was eight hours away from Pakistan, now he is only two and a half hours away.
He said that whenever Nawaz Sharif returns home, prosperity will come.
The federal minister said that friendly countries are investing in Pakistan on the request of Nawaz as he will become the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the fourth time.
He said: “PMLN wants free elections on time.”
Javed demanded action against those who started ‘Project Imran’.
He said that a body actually held itself accountable and gave punishments which proved the point of PML-N that there was facilitation.
Latif said that no incident in Pakistan’s history could have happened like what happened on May 9 – when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf supporters ransacked military installations following the arrest of party chairman Imran Khan.
He said that all the characters involved in the events of May 9 should be punished.
Speculation is rife about Nawaz’s return to the country after a law came into force, limiting the disqualification of parliamentarians to a maximum of five years, ending the lifetime disqualification of the PML-N supremo.
