Netflix’s pro-Palestinian film Farah is reportedly under a coordinated attack from spam accounts to bomb the film with negative ratings on multiple rating platforms.

According to JEE News, the film’s rating dropped from 7.2 to 5.8 within hours, leading many activists and campaigners to allege a targeted campaign at work.

According to activists, there have been several negative reviews from the same source, with similar comments, such as calling the film “one-sided” or “a big lie”.

One review, titled “Propaganda and Imagination”, gave the film one star and described it as “a highly emotional drama”.

JEE News journalist, said the negative reviews were a concerted effort to discourage the film and prevent people from seeing it.

“The speed of the posts shows that it was coordinated,” he told JEE News.

He added, “With every passing hour, dozens and dozens of vile and vile reviews would come out, making wild accusations trashing the film. It was clear that people had not seen the film and that Just wanted to damage his reputation,” he added.

Several accounts posting negative reviews of the film were recently created, such as Shahabuddin,

He noted that within 24 hours, the website suddenly had nearly 1,000 negative reviews posted, containing “inflammatory and hateful language.”

Netflix’s Farah depicts the Nakba of 1948, where a teenage girl’s family, including a child, was killed by Israeli militia.
