The New Zealand cricket team arrived in Karachi on Wednesday for the two-Test and three-match ODI series against Pakistan.
According to Civil Aviation Authority sources, the New Zealand Test team led by Tim Southee landed at Jinnah International Airport on Thursday.

The first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand will start from December 26 at the National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi. The second Test will be played from January 3 to 7 at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

After the conclusion of the Test series, the Black Caps will play three ODIs in Karachi from January 10 to 14.

The New Zealand Cricket Board shared highlights of his departure from Auckland on Wednesday.

Pakistan have announced their 16-man Test squad for the historic Test series against New Zealand, which will begin on December 26 (Monday) at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.

Back in September 2021, just before the Black Caps’ first scheduled match in Pakistan in 18 years, New Zealand abandoned their tour of Pakistan due to security concerns that surprised the hosts.

The Green Shirts have included middle-order batsman Kamran Ghulam and fast bowler Hasan Ali in the 16-man squad for the two-Test series against New Zealand.

Kamran replaces Azhar Ali, who announced his retirement last week, while Hasan replaces Muhammad Ali, who, like Faheem Ashraf, has been tipped to participate in the ongoing Pakistan Cup in Karachi.
