Nushrratt Bharuccha, the leading lady of the original Dream Girl, finally expressed her feelings about not being a part of the sequel.
This is not the first time that Nushrratt has spoken about this issue. In a recent interview with JEE News, he once again candidly admitted that he doesn’t have the heart to ask the makers why they didn’t cast him in the second part of the superhit film.
The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor said: “You have to ask the makers of the film that question. I really didn’t have the heart to ask them, ‘Why didn’t you take me?’ I could not.
“I just said, well, they didn’t ask me, that’s fine. Like I said, I’ve become very accepting. That applies to all aspects. I accepted, So there is no tension.”
Earlier, talking about the same, Nushrratt said: “My director Raaj Shaandilyaa, with whom I also did Janhit Mein Jaari, is also very close to my heart. So the whole setup for me. And the whole team is special.”
“Of course it was disappointing not to be a part of their second journey. But having said that, I wish the film all the best and I’m going to cheer for them, seeing the first show on the first day. And hope the movie will earn more than 200-300 crores.
Dream Girl 2 is coming soon with OG Ayushmann Khurrana along with Ananya Pandey to entertain the audience with her iconic character called ‘Pooja’. According to JEE News, the film is all set to hit theaters on July 7.
