On Brink of Winter, LPG Prices Rise to Around Rs 3 Per Kg

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs 2.96 per kg to Rs 204.16 per kg for November, an official notification revealed on Tuesday. .

With this increase, a domestic LPG cylinder (11.8 kg) has become more expensive by Rs 34.91, while the price of a commercial cylinder (45.4 kg) will increase by Rs 134.

Last month, a domestic cylinder of LPG fuel was available at Rs 2,374.25 but for November it will cost Rs 2,409.16. The price of the commercial cylinder has also gone up to Rs 9,269.

Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to Rs 10.32 per kg. Ogra has issued a notification to reduce LPG prices by Rs 10.32 per kg.

LPG price for October 2022 was fixed at Rs 201.20 per kg.

A day earlier, the government kept the prices of petroleum products unchanged for the next fortnight.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar made this announcement before the meeting of the International Monetary Fund.
