KARACHI: The second T20 International match of the seven-match series between Pakistan and England will be played today (Thursday) at the National Stadium Karachi.
Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsmen are worried about the poor performance of the middle order. While holding a press conference after the match, he said that the team will soon overcome the shortcomings.
On the other hand, the visiting team is ready to continue the winning streak as the visiting team defeated Pakistan by six wickets in the first T20 match of the series.
English batsman Alex Hales, who returned to the team for the Pakistan series and T20 World Cup in Australia, led his team to victory by scoring 53 runs off 40 balls.
Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan scored a 46-ball 68 to help Pakistan reach 158-7 in their 20 overs as England sent them into bat at a capacity National Stadium.
With this win, England have taken a 1-0 lead in the seven-match series.
Along with today’s match, the remaining matches will be played in Karachi (September 23, 25) and Lahore (September 28, 30 and October 2).
