Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday announced the launch of a movement against the government.

He claimed that he saw little indication that the government was interested in holding early general elections as demanded by him.

Addressing the All Pakistan Lawyers’ Convention in Lahore on Wednesday, the former prime minister reiterated that the present government is a ‘reign of thieves’ which is busy hiding its corruption under the amended NAB rules.

He said that Pakistan is facing the worst food insecurity crisis but they are busy giving themselves NROs (National Reconciliation Orders).

He further urged the public to never vote for political parties whose leaders have interests outside the country, as he used the term “conflict of interest” to describe leaders who have interests outside the country. There is wealth beyond.

Imran condemned those who were allegedly threatening PTI workers.

“The Constitution protects my freedom of speech,” he said, before repeating, “Those who threaten you, you threaten them.”

Finally, he invited lawyers to join his movement.

He said that when I call you, you should come out for a prosperous Pakistan, adding that I will give real freedom to Pakistan.

Civil unrest.
Imran warned that the country is heading towards civil unrest due to the situation created in Pakistan due to the current government.

He further said that a Sri Lanka-like situation is emerging in the country because there is no justice or rule of law.

Imran claimed that his chief of staff Shahbaz Gul, an assistant professor at an American university, was detained for expressing his views at the behest of the government and was tortured in custody, including stripping him naked. He was also beaten.

A man allegedly involved in ‘open and shut’ corruption cases is being consulted on who should be appointed as the next head of the country’s powerful army.
