LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday revised the schedule of Pakistan’s limited-overs tour of New Zealand due to “elections in Punjab”.
The Black Caps are to play five ODIs and five T20Is “in agreement” with the PCB and New Zealand Cricket, the board said in a statement today.
According to sources, the travel schedule was changed in view of the upcoming general elections in Punjab on April 30.
According to new schedule, New Zealand will arrive in Lahore and play three T20Is from April 14 to 17, before moving to Rawalpindi for the final two T20Is and the first ODI from April 20 to 26.
The tour will conclude with the remaining four ODIs to be played in Karachi from April 30 to May 7.
The PCB said that this is an additional tour of the New Zealand cricket team and the matches will count towards the ICC team rankings.
The ODI will also help Pakistan prepare its squad for the Asia Cup and ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, while T20 will help the PCB build its squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Nine will help to continue, which will be held. June/July 2024 in USA and West Indies.

- 2nd T20I from April 15, Lahore
- 17 April to 3rd T20I, Lahore
- April 20 – 4th T20I, Rawalpindi
- 24 April to 5th T20I, Rawalpindi
- First ODI to 26th April, Rawalpindi
- Second ODI from April 30, Karachi
- May 3 – 3rd ODI, Karachi
- May 5 to 4th ODI, Karachi
- May 7 – 5th ODI, Karachi
