The racing star says that driving formula cars is a particularly dangerous sport in America because the average speed is so high there. He explains: “The walls are very close and they’re concrete walls. When you hit a concrete wall at 200 miles an hour, you can kill yourself. Racing in America means people get hurt. Or get killed. It’s dangerous, but danger is what this game is all about.”

Inam Ahmed’s mother does not watch any of his races and avoids watching his races, as she does not want to see her son driving at such dangerous speeds.

“My father told me that when you leave school, you have to find sponsors and your niche. In the beginning I didn’t have any sponsors but I won big races, set and broke records and sponsors came after me, said Inam.

Talking about future plans, he said; “I want to finish this year’s season and race in the Indianapolis 500 next year and be the first Pakistani to do so. Then I will set my sights on entering Formula 1.
