Paramount+ is all set to release 1923, a spin-off of Yellowstone, with the series debuting on the network on December 18, 2022.
The streaming platform has shared a teaser for 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, who play the heads of the Dutton family, Jacob and Kara.
“Violence has always haunted this family,” says a narrator in the trailer. “It follows us here. And when it doesn’t follow, we find it. We find it.”
The new series will be based on two seasons, each consisting of eight episodes.
1923 Set in the early 20th century West, the show revolves around the next two generations of the Duttons family as they struggle to survive the historic drought, lawlessness and Prohibition.
The spin-off from 1883 is the second prequel series to Taylor Sheridan’s hit series Yellowstone.
