Pathaan director Siddharth Anand finally spoke about receiving boycott calls before the film’s theatrical release.
Speaking about the same, Anand revealed that Team Pathaan was not at all afraid of the boycott calls, nor did it affect the film.
“We were not scared. We knew there was nothing objectionable in our film.”

Before Pathaan’s release, most people were calling for a ban on the film claiming that it contained objectionable content that hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community. Deepika Padukone’s orange saffron which she wore in the song Besharam Rang got a huge response.
The action-packed film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika and John Abraham took the box office by storm. The film grossed over Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
Meanwhile, director Siddharth Anand is currently working on his next film Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, reports JEE News.
