The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday unveiled the schedule for the Test series against Australia, the Ban-ul-Qadir Trophy, which was scheduled to be played later this year and next year.

“Pakistan will tour Australia later in the year for the Bennu Qadir Trophy. The three Tests — part of the third World Test Championship cycle — will be played in December and January in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney,” Cricket Australia said. A statement made read.

According to the statement issued by PCB, the first two Tests of the series will be played in December 2023, while the third Test will be played in January 2024.

The last time Pakistan and Australia met in red-ball cricket was in March last year, when the latter won the three-match series.

  • 14-18 December: First Test, Perth Stadium
  • December 26-30: Second Test, MCG

Apart from Pakistan, Australia will host the West Indies and South Africa during the home season, with both men’s and women’s teams in action.
