Petrol prices goes up in Pakistan

The government has finally announced petroleum prices for the next two weeks after delaying the decision for five days. Petrol price has been increased by Rs 1.45 per liter.

According to the prices announced at the end of Tuesday, the price of petrol or petrol will now be Rs 2037.43 per liter.

The price of high -speed diesel (HSD), which is used by trucks and buses, has no change in Rs 247 per liter.

Light diesel oil (LDO), which mostly consumes tube wells, has been cheaper by the price of Rs 4 per liter while the price of kerosene has been reduced to Rs 202.2 per liter.

A notification was issued last night and new prices were implemented at 12 o’clock on Wednesday.

The Finance Division announced the prices of petroleum at the beginning of the month first and then the 15th day. It was to be announced and issued a report on September 15, but the decision was delayed for five days.

Federal Finance Ministry officials said the decision was delayed on September 15 as the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister were on a foreign visit. However, even after returning to the country, no announcement was made for two days.
