PM Shahbaz Sharif has called a special meeting of federal cabinet today (Friday) in which approval will be given to form a high-level committee to investigate the audio leaks of the Prime Minister’s House.
A cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
A broad agenda for discussion during the meeting will be the leaked audio recordings of conversations taking place inside the Prime Minister’s House and on national security.
The cabinet will also review the flood damage, relief activities and other related issues. The political and economic situation of the country was to be reviewed.
According to the report, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will give a briefing on the country’s economic situation and future plans.
