PM’s Announcement to Give Rs 5 Million to Relatives of Victims of PTI’s Long March

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday announced Rs 50 lakh for the relief of the bereaved families of the victims of the fatal long march of PTI.

Of the four victims, three lost their lives after being hit by PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container and one in the Wazirabad shooting.

Expressing grief over the tragic deaths during the recent long march of a political party, the Prime Minister has expressed happiness by announcing a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the legal heirs of the deceased. Minister’s Office (PMO) said.

According to PMO’s statement, this compensation will be given to the families of Muazzam Gondal, Sadaf Naeem, Sameer Nawaz and Hussam Baloch.

“The Prime Minister is pleased to further direct that the financial assistance cheque(s) shall be handed over to the families of the deceased immediately after fulfilling the procedural requirements,” the official handout said. “

PTI activist Moazzam Gondal was killed in Wazirabad Long March while journalist Sadaf Naeem, working for a private news channel, was hit by a PTI container truck near Kamuke on Sunday, October 30. She was crushed under the wheels and died. Road Lahore.
