PPP’s war is not with political parties but with poverty and inflation, Bilawal

KARACHI: Foreign Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that his party’s fight is against poverty, inflation and unemployment in the country, not against other political parties.

The minister said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the new sports complex at Kukri Ground Sports Complex in Lyari on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. He asked his party followers to be fully prepared as his good days are near.

The PPP Chairman said that a no-confidence motion was tabled in the National Assembly to send the former incompetent ruler who robbed the people’s mandate in the last election.

Bilawal said that there is a special bond between his family and the people of Lyari, he said that his parents Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari were married at the Kukri Ground. He said that the development movement of Pakistan was started from the streets of Lyari.

He further said that the people of Lyari fought hard against the dictatorial regimes of former military leaders General Zia-ul-Haq and Pervez Musharraf and also made efforts against the former incompetent ruler.

Bilawal said that the People’s Party won with a huge majority in the local body elections in Lyari. He said that whenever the elections were held without the interference of the umpire, the People’s Party always won.

Chairman PPP said that his party has full faith in the democratic system in the country. He said that the People’s Party is providing an opportunity for the youth to perform well. He said that sports and health facilities will be provided to the residents of Lyari and the rest of Karachi.

He told the audience that the people of Lyari are very talented and therefore they should actively participate in nation building.

Bilawal Bhutto said that some politicians misled and incited the youth while the People’s Party never believed in hate and divisive politics.

Earlier, addressing the convocation of Safa University, the PPP chairman warned the youth of the country: “The most dangerous is the attempt to sow seeds of hatred among us. The toxic polarization, the incitement to violence, is designed to distract us from the real work that you need to do together and at the forefront of leadership roles, in charge of your destiny and the destiny of this country. .

He further said that the People’s Party has always rejected the politics of hatred and has always preferred the politics of reconciliation and welfare of the people.

“I don’t want our politics to revolve around parties or organizations fighting each other and fighting against each other,” he added.

He said that the country’s politics should be on fighting poverty, inflation, unemployment and despair because the nation needs to compete with the world, adding that today’s world is artificial intelligence, digital technology and modern world. research
