Former all-rounder Shahid Afridi on Sunday said he was happy with Karachi Kings’ 67-run comeback against Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
On Karachi’s first win of the season, Afridi said that Imad Wasim’s team has come back in good form.
“This win was very important for him and he did really well to come back,” he said.
The former Pakistan captain said: “Lahore are a good team, a win against them will definitely boost Karachi’s confidence.
The former Pakistan captain also met the Karachi players after the win. Pictures of his interaction with the player were shared by the team on their Twitter account.

Batting first, Karachi Kings set a competitive target of 186 runs on the scoreboard, which they successfully defended and bowled out Lahore Qalandars for 118 runs in 17.3 overs.
It is too early to praise Sime.
Asked about the future of young batsman Saeem Ayub, Afridi refrained from praising any youngster for just one performance.
He said: “It is too early to talk about any youngster. Don’t hype players after one performance. Let them play and prove themselves. I can talk about them after PSL.” Will.”

Karachi had a terrible start to their PSL 8 campaign as they lost their opening three games of the season. They lost their opening game against Peshawar Zalmi, followed by defeats against Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.
