Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Friday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan will never again become a major player in national politics, indicating his incompetence.

Since being ousted by a no-confidence vote in April last year, Khan has faced a number of charges ranging from terrorism to murder, but has managed to strike back at the government.

But after the May 9 riots, when he was arrested, and his party workers resorted to extreme violence, the authorities began cracking down on his party, and several leaders defected from the PTI. Did it.

“He is a miscreant. He brought vulgarity to politics,” the minister told JEE News as he slammed the PTI chief for criticizing the ruling coalition.

Sanaullah claimed that PTI is living in a fantasy if it thinks its vote bank has increased after May 9.

“People have seen their real faces. They are a ‘crime’ against the nation whose only agenda is to wreak havoc in the country.”

When authorities began arresting PTI workers for involvement in vandalism, which the party described as political vendetta, Khan vowed that no matter what, he would win the next election.

Sanaullah said that the PTI chief incited hatred among the youth. “Now, every sane person is well aware of his plans to spread chaos.”

Ch Elahi ‘comfortable’

In the same show, referring to PTI President Pervaiz Elahi, he said that it is common practice to transfer prisoners from jail to hospital when they are in pain.

PTI has been claiming that Elahi is unwell and his rights are being denied. His wife also claimed the same and said that the way Elahi was treated in the jail was very painful.

However, Sanaullah denied these allegations.

He noted that the party had earlier falsely accused the jail authorities of harassing PTI women workers, which the government itself and PTI women workers denied.

“According to the information received by me, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi is resting, all facilities are being provided to him.”
