Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued show-cause notices to two members of the Punjab Assembly who did not attend the meeting on the no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
Notices have been issued to Momina Waheed and Chaudhry Faisal Farooq Cheema.
The political party has warned the two MPAs against action under Article 63-A of the Constitution of Pakistan which could lead to their disqualification.
Earlier, Tehreek-e-Insaf had decided to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against five members of the Punjab Assembly who were absent during the no-confidence motion.
Among them are Khurram Leghari, Momina Waheed, Faisal Cheema, Dost Mazari and Chaudhry Masood.
It should be noted that Chief Minister Pervez Elahi had secured 186 votes in the controversial session of Punjab Assembly late on Wednesday night.
