ISLAMABAD: As the time for the resumption of PTI’s long march nears, the party’s central leaders on Wednesday vowed to continue the march in Wazirabad from the same spot where party chairman Imran Khan was assassinated. were injured.
The PTI, during a meeting chaired by Khan in Lahore, decided that the “True Freedom” march would proceed to Rawalpindi from the venue after the public gathering.
In a statement, the PTI said party leaders from Faisalabad and other parts of the country would advance to Rawalpindi in groups, while more convoys would reach the city in the third week of November.
The party’s briefing said that a three-member investigation committee will be formed by tomorrow, which will hand over the investigation conducted by the local police to the joint investigation team.
After its meeting, the PTI said the party had only one demand: that the elections be held as soon as possible. The party has also demanded the dissolution of all assemblies and paving the way for snap elections in all four provinces.
