KARACHI: According to an expert from the Meteorological Department, a fresh spell of rain on Thursday has predicted that the rain will continue throughout the day in the city.
According to JEE News, the areas that received rain across the city include Saddar, Clifton, Defence, MA Jinnah Road, Solider Bazar, Kharadar, Jamshed Quarters, Azizabad, Sarjani, Baldia and Korangi among others.
According to meteorologist Jawad Memon, thunderstorms drenched Sindh’s southern port city under the influence of westerly winds. Memon said more clouds are coming towards the city from the Arabian Sea.
Rain is likely to resume in the next two to three hours. West and central areas of the city will have more chances of rain,” the analyst said.
“Clouds will continue to form intermittently throughout the day. Moderate to heavy rain is likely at some places,” the analyst said.
He further said that the system will move towards Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tomorrow and chances of rain will reduce in Sindh from Friday.
