Rajkumar Rao will play the role of Indian revolutionary leader Bhagat Singh in his next project.
According to some close sources, the untitled project is under development as a team of writers has started researching the great leader’s life.
“Rajkumar Rao is excited about a project on Bhagat Singh and is eager to play the revolutionary leader soon.”
“The project is now in a very early stage of development as a team of writers is busy researching episodes from Bhagat Singh’s life.”
“Rajkumar himself is heavily involved in the development process of the script and is treating it as a pet project,” the source added.
The team working on the project wants to create something that has never been created before.
“The team wants to create content around Bhagat Singh as has been done before. Instead of going for the traditional film format, the team is also exploring the longer format of the story.
“It’s all very early stages right now and the writing itself will take another 6 to 8 months,” reports JEE News.
On the work front, Rajkumar Rao is currently busy shooting for Stree 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparashakti Khurana.
