Karachi Police have arrested the killers of Zeeshan Afzal, who was shot dead earlier this month when he resisted a robbery in Karachi.
In September, 41-year-old Zeeshan was shot dead by gunmen after thwarting a robbery attempt in Gulistan Johar Block 14.
Zeeshan was sitting in his four-wheeler, registration number: BBL-09, along with his wife and two children outside an eatery in Gulistan Johar Block 14 when two armed men on a motorcycle approached.
Gulistan Johar Police Station Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Asim Khan told that the motorcyclist got down from the two-wheeler and cocked the chamber of his pistol.
“The gunman put his pistol on Zeeshan’s head and asked him to hand over all his valuables,” ASI Khan said, adding that “when he tried to grab the robber’s arm Then the bandit shot Zeeshan on the forehead.”
After that, the robbers fled from there.
SSP Investigation East Altaf Hussain said that the arrested accused have confessed their crimes. They have been identified as John alias Johnny and Yasir alias Gogo.

He said that on the day of the murder, the accused had snatched the mobile phone from another family before contacting Zeeshan. After Zeeshan’s murder, his bail was canceled and he went to jail, the SSP said.
Yasir said in his confessional video statement that ‘there is an ice cream parlor near Kamran Chowrangi, we saw a car parked there and a family was sitting inside, there was a man on the driving seat and they were eating ice cream’.
Yasir said that John asked him to stop the bike in front of the car. “As I stopped the bike, John pointed the gun and told him to give him what he had. The man tried to resist and put his hand out, John thought he was going to shoot him. tries to grab his pistol and shoots him.
Zeeshan’s wife identified the accused during the identification parade.
Who was Zeeshan Afzal?
Zeeshan, 41, had a double MBA from London and was serving as General Manager (GM) Human Resources at the Kidney Centre. Kidney Center Administrator Dr. Saeed told that Zeeshan joined the health center as GM Human Resources about eight years ago.
